Gallery
The terrain of the very small is stranger and better-looking than most landscapes at human scale — pollen like naval mines, fracture surfaces like box canyons, diatoms that out-engineer architects. This gallery collects the best of what readers see through their columns, with the settings that captured it, because a beautiful micrograph is also a teaching document.
The plinths are built and the first prints are being
framed. The gallery opens with its first reader submissions — yours could be
in the opening set.

- The file — largest original you have (TIFF or full-size JPEG/PNG; we'll handle web sizing). Scale bar burned in, or tell us the field width.
- The caption facts — what the sample is, one line on how it was prepped, kV, detector (SE/BSE), and anything unusual about the capture.
- Your credit line — name, initials, lab, or fully anonymous; entirely your call.
- The rights — confirm you took the image (or hold the rights) and that we may display it here with your chosen credit. You keep ownership.
